<p><span>We&#8217;re going to begin updating hardware product pricing monthly instead of annually, and exchange rates will now be updated quarterly rather than daily.  Additionally, we are currently transitioning from custom pricing, which used three price fields per product + price rules, to a price book model for Commercial, Govt, and BOA segments.</span></p>

We found a flow that is making updates “after save” on the quote (even in the dropped state), so I may try to add a checkbox flag field to that flow and use that in my validation rule.  </p>

<p>Our organization is looking into using MDQ because they want to ramp multi-year deals.  We currently have three fields on the product for our pricing (not using pricebooks).  I have never seen this before and I am still not sure why this design decision was made, but they are using price rules to inject those vales into the list price. &hellip;</p>
